Planning a summer camp or summer school outing? Come out and skate! Camps and schools with 15 or more people can reserve the Summer Group admission rate, during our Monday–Friday public skating hours in our summer season. Reservations must be made 72-hours in advance. Call (703) 323-1132 to make a reservation.
All the special admission rates listed below for homeschool student, college student and summer groups, are not valid with other offers, and are not valid during any of our scheduled holiday public skate sessions and when area schools are not in session.
A skate rental fee of $4 per person is not included in these special rates.

Fairfax Ice Arena Group Lesson Student Practice Card
Customers must present their practice card to the Box Office for public session admission and also present it to the skate rental counter to claim their public skate rental. The card is only valid for use by the student whose name is written on the card. The card is only valid until the expiration date written on the card. Customers who do not have a practice card to present to the Box Office and skate rental counter, must pay for admission and skate rental to be admitted to the public session. The sale of public session admission and skate rental is final sale and no refund or credit will be issued at a later time in exchange to mark your practice card. Forgotten cards, and copies or photos of the card, expired and damaged practice cards are not valid. Fairfax Ice Arena is not responsible for unclaimed, unused, forgotten, lost, stolen or damaged practice cards. For more information about practice cards, please read our policies.

Weekend and Holiday Group Admission
$6.25 (all ages, per person)
Rate begins on the Friday 8:30 PM session
Groups of 7 or more must make reservations online 48 hours in advance.
Make your group reservation online at the earliest, 30 days in advance. Payment is due in person, on the day of your reservation. When you come in for your reservation, the first 7 people in your group must be present together at the box office to purchase the group rate admission or one person in your group may be present to purchase a minimum of 7 group rate admissions. After 7 admissions have been purchased, the rest of your group must mention your group reservation name at the box office to receive the group rate.
The group rate cannot be used with other offers, coupons and promotions.
Skate rental fee of $4 per person is not included in the group admission rate and can be purchased in person on the day of your reservation.
Fairfax Ice Arena is an indoor ice rink offering daily public ice skating session hours all year round with special holiday hours. Public ice skating sessions are the designated times when the general public can ice skate.

Themed Public Skate Events - SAVE THE DATES
Fairfax Ice Arena is excited to present themed public skate events on the first Wednesday of each month at 8:30 PM - 9:45 PM, from November 2023 to May 2024. These public skate events will have a DJ and refreshments, and may include raffle prizes, fun games and a photo area.
Discount Skating Card - $78
The discount skating card is good for 10 admissions to our public ice skating sessions for a savings of 14% for 10 weekday admissions, or a savings of 22% for 10 weekend admissions. The card can be used to admit one to multiple individuals at any one public ice skating session. The discount skating card does not include skate rental. The discount card cannot be used with other offers, coupons and promotions. The purchase of a discount skating card is FINAL SALE. NO REFUNDS.
To use the discount skating card, present the physical card to the box office to be admitted to a public skate session. All individuals using the discount card must be present together at the box office. Forgotten cards, and copies or photos of the card are not valid and will not be accepted.

Wear warm, comfortable clothing, pants/leggings, thin or medium-weight socks that go past your ankles, gloves and a jacket.
We have free helmet rentals for adults, teens and kids or you may bring your own bicycle, ski or snowboarding helmets. Wearing a helmet and protective gear is strongly recommended for all skaters of all ages especially for beginners.
We do not have ice skating aids (i.e. penguins/walkers) available that customers can hold on to while ice skating.

Private Lesson Students
Prescheduled privates lessons are held during public session hours and customers must purchase public session admission and skate rental to be admitted to skate on the session for their private lesson. The coach's private lesson fee is not included in the public session admission and skate rental. Please review our information and policies about private lessons.
