Take the next step in your skating journey. Fairfax Ice Arena offers figure skating camps in the spring and summer. These programs offer skaters the opportunity to learn skating skills with peers, and participate in a fun, active program during their spring and summer breaks.
From beginner to freestyle level skaters ages 4–13, we have a camp for you during spring and summer break. See below for available camps.
2024 Dates and Times: Begins on June 21 (the class meets up once a week for 8 weeks)
Tot 5, Alpha, Beta (4-6 years old): Fridays, 6:30 PM–7:50 PM
Beta (7-13 years old): Fridays, 7:05 PM–8:20 PM
Gamma, Delta, and Freestyle 1 (4-13 years old): Fridays, 7:05 PM - 8:20 PM
Prerequisite: Skaters must be ages 4–13 years old during the camp dates and have passed skating levels Tot 5, Alpha–Freestyle 1. Register for the level you last passed. If it has been 6-12 months since you last skated or took a group lesson on a level, register for a level below.
This eight-week summer program is for skating levels Tot 5, Alpha and Beta, ages 4–6, and Beta through Freestyle 1, ages 7–13. Skaters will learn a group or solo program to a movie song.There will be a recital at the end of the eight-week program.
Space is limited for each level.
There is a $35 cancellation fee. There are no credits or refunds issued for missed classes, or recital.
Summer Ice Skating Camp
2024 Dates: June 24–28, July 8–12, July 22–26
2024 Times: 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Prerequisite: Skater must be 4-13 years old during the camp dates; in beginner to Freestyle 3 skate level
Fairfax Ice Arena offers three one-week Summer Ice Skating Camps. Register for week 1, week 2, week 3 or all of them. This camp is for kids ages 4–13 who are beginner through Freestyle 3 levels. Price includes on-ice practice, on-ice instruction, supervision, skate and helmet rental during camp, T-shirt and lunch. Skaters must be 4–13 years old during the camp dates. Space is limited for each level.
There is a $35 cancellation fee. There are no credits or refunds issued for missed camp classes.

Prerequisite: Skaters must be 4-17 years old during the camp dates. Register for the level you last passed. If it has been 6-12 months since you last skated or took a group lesson on a level, register for a level below.
The I.S.I. Summer Skating Camp is a full week of concentrated ice skatingfor ages 4–17, in Gamma through Freestyle 6 levels. You will receive instruction in the following areas: show program, stroking, maneuvers and an introduction to field moves/edge work.
Space is limited for each level. Additional $15 charge for registrations made on or after August 11, 2024.
There is a $35 cancellation fee. There are no credits or refunds for missed classes, show or dress rehearsal.

Prerequisite: must be 4-13 years old, in beginner to Freestyle 3
The annual Spring Break Skating Camp is for kids ages 4–6 and 7–13 in beginner to Freestyle 3 levels. The camp will provide lunch, skates and helmet rental, and includes supervised practice skating during our public ice skating session, off-ice fitness and games, and on-ice skating instruction and games. Space is limited for each level.
There is a $35 cancellation fee. There are no credits or refunds issued for missed classes.

Prerequisite: Skaters must be 7–15 years old during the camp dates and have passed levels Beta through Freestyle 6. Register for the level you last passed. If it has been 6–12 months since you last skated or took a group lesson on a level, register for a level below.
This eight-week summer program is for students ages 7–13, skating levels Beta through Freestyle 6. Skaters will learn a group or solo program to rock n' roll music. There will be a recital at the end of the eight-week program.
Space is limited for each level.
There is a $35 cancellation fee. There are no credits or refunds issued for missed classes, or recital.
