Experience the thrill of being part of an ice skating show! Fairfax Ice Arena offers two shows in the summer, and a winter holiday ice show in December. These programs offer skaters the opportunity to learn choreography, showmanship, and teamwork. Also these programs are platforms for skaters to showcase their skating skills and growth, and is a great way to introduce them to different disciplines of skating: show skating and competitive skating.

2026 Winter Holiday Ice Show
Final rehearsal and show will be on Saturday, December 12, 4:30 PM - 8:15 PM
The show will begin promptly at 5:45 PM
A festive production featuring costumes, choreography, and holiday music. The annual winter holiday ice show is a great way for skaters ages 4 and up to showcase their skating skills, and learn performance skills, teamwork and choreography. There are limited spots for group and solo performances.
The show is free to watch. Family, friends and customers are invited to watch the show. Parking space is limited. Only phone cameras are allowed. All other photo and video cameras, drones, small action cameras, tripods, monopods, are not allowed on the premise. There is no flash photography allowed. Please do not bring large items such as large bags, signs, and seating. Please do not throw any items onto the ice at anytime during the rehearsal and show.
Group Performance - $125
Register before the first day of class
Prerequisite: Skaters must have passed Tot 3/4 (ages 4–6) or Alpha (ages 7–13 and 14+) to participate in group number performance classes.
During class, students will learn and practice a group program for the ice show. All classes are 6 weekly lessons, 30 minutes each. Classes are separated by level and age group.

Note: There are no classes November 25–28.
Costumes are an additional cost and not included in the registration fee. Your coach will discuss costume details with parents after the first few classes. Previous costumes have been items you may already own or under $40.
- $35 cancellation fee applies.
- Cancellations on or after Monday, November 2 will receive a credit only — no refunds.
- No refunds or credits for missed classes, dress rehearsal, or show performance.
- No make-ups.
Solo/Small Group Performance - $40
Register by Monday, November 2
Prerequisite: Freestyle 4 and above.
Program requirements: Program must be to a holiday song; be no longer than 2 minutes; and include a minimum of a jump combination or one single axel.
The skater(s) or parent(s) is responsible for additional costs for the skater(s) to learn and practice a program which may include private lessons, public skate or freestyle session admission, costumes, and music.
Important: Do not begin learning a program with an instructor without registering for the solo/small group performance first.
Space is limited. Registered skaters must submit their music to the lesson office no later than Monday, November 2.
- $10 cancellation fee applies.
- Cancellations on or after Monday, November 2 will receive a credit only — no refunds.
- No refunds or credits for missed dress rehearsal or show performance.
